Segmented PE100 bends are fabricated from accurately cut pipe sections and butt-fused to the required angle. They are a practical solution for large diameters, non-standard angles and project layouts outside the normal molded fitting range.
ERA's catalogue covers sizes from 90 mm through 1,200 mm, with SDR11, SDR13.6, SDR17, SDR21 and SDR26 options. Available nominal bend radii include 1d, 1.5d, 2d, 2.5d and 3d, with standard nominal angles of 11°, 22°, 30°, 45°, 60° and 90°, plus customised angles.
Engineering note: the pressure rating of a fabricated bend depends on its segment geometry, cut angle and manufacturing method. The final applicable PN and any derating factor must be confirmed during design review and shown on the approved fabrication drawing.
