Mega Project | ERA MPP Power Conduits Build the "Power Lifeline" of Shanghai's Eastern Hub
Direct answer: ERA MPP power conduits were selected for the underground power conduit network of the T3 terminal at Pudong International Airport — the core of Shanghai's Eastern Hub — because they combine ≥40 kN/m² ring stiffness, pull lengths of 1,000 m and above, and tensile strength greater than 25 MPa, which is what trenchless installation through interbedded clay and gravel demands.

In North China, a major national project—the Phase III Expansion of Taiyuan Wuxiu International Airport—is about to go into operation. As the only international airport in Shanxi Province and China’s first regional hub-level airport to run with net-zero carbon operations, this "aerial gateway" is built to handle 40,000,000 passengers and 300,000 tons of cargo annually. It will serve as a vital aviation hub connecting North China with the rest of the country.
