A pipe spool combines pipe sections and fittings into a workshop-fabricated assembly ready for site tie-in. Typical spools may incorporate bends, reducers, branches, stub ends, flanged interfaces, valve connection points and equipment nozzles.
Pre-fabrication moves critical measurement, alignment and welding work from the trench or plant room into a controlled workshop. The result is fewer site joints, shorter installation time and a clearer dimensional handover — provided that the approved drawing and site interface dimensions are correct.
